Local knowledge

What the ocean does to paint here.

Salt and UV

Oceanfront and highly exposed elevations take more salt, sun and wind. Those conditions influence cleaning, primers, sealants and the exterior coating system we recommend.

Preparation matters more than a calendar

Coastal homes do not all fail on the same schedule. Proper preparation and a coating system matched to the substrate and exposure are more important than a blanket lifespan claim.

Sawgrass and Marsh Landing

Communities may have architectural-review requirements for exterior colors and sheen. When documentation is needed, we can coordinate the paint information required for the project.

Intracoastal and Palm Valley

Marsh-side homes can combine salt exposure, shade and moisture. North-facing and protected elevations deserve particular attention during preparation.

Ponte Vedra Beach questions, answered.

What does painting cost in Ponte Vedra Beach?−

Interior projects typically $4,800–$19,500 and exterior projects $7,200–$28,000. The scheduled estimate provides the actual project price.

How often should an oceanfront home be repainted?+

There is no universal repaint interval. Salt, UV, wind exposure, substrate condition, previous preparation and the coating system all affect service life. We inspect the existing finish and recommend repainting based on condition.

Do you help with community color approvals?+

When a community requires color or sheen information, we can provide the project coating details needed for the homeowner’s approval process. Final approval remains subject to the applicable association or review board.

Can you work while we are living in the house?+

Yes, most of our interior work is in occupied homes. Rooms are contained, cleaned and reset every day, and the schedule is agreed before we start.

Can you match the existing color after a repair or addition?+

Yes. We pull the match from a protected surface rather than a faded one, and we spray out a sample on the wall before committing, because coastal fading means the can color and the wall color are rarely the same.

Do you handle storm and water damage?+

Yes. Restoration is half our work: drywall, trim and repaint after a leak or a storm, documented so your insurance has what it needs.
