The process
Every job runs the same five steps, in the same order, whether it is one ceiling or a whole oceanfront exterior. Your estimate is free, the price is in writing, and the job is not done until we have walked every surface with you.
We evaluate the surfaces, identify areas that need attention, and discuss access and project details with you. This is where the scope gets honest: what gets painted, what gets repaired first, and what can wait a year without costing you anything.
A written estimate with the prep listed line by line: wash, repairs, sanding, primer, coats, cleanup. The price is the price. It moves only if the scope moves, and you approve that in writing too.
Most of the job happens before the color. Wash, scrape, repair, sand, prime — on the coast, this is the whole difference between a finish that fails early and one that holds.
Rooms contained, floors covered, landscaping protected. Every evening the site is cleaned and reset, so you keep living your life — or running your business — while the work happens around it.
We complete a final walk of every painted surface with you, address any remaining details, and hand over the care information for your project. If something is not right, it gets fixed before we call it done.
The other half of the process
Timelines depend on the size and condition of the project and the preparation required. The schedule is confirmed in the written estimate, and weather is the only thing allowed to move it — with a phone call, not a silence.
No. Many clients hand us a key or a code. Every stage is photographed and decisions can be approved by phone, so you can follow the work from wherever you are.
It happens, and it is fine. We stop, sample the new color on the wall, and put the change and any cost difference in writing before continuing. No change is billed that you did not approve first.
You see it before we touch it: photographed, explained, priced in writing. Painting over a problem is the one thing we will not do, but the decision on how far to go is always yours.
Yes. Your estimate is free and carries no obligation. We’ll take the time to understand your project, evaluate the surfaces, and clearly define the scope before providing your price.
