After a leak, storm, or years of wear, the goal is not always to replace what has been damaged. We evaluate what can be preserved, repair what needs attention, and restore the surrounding surfaces with respect for the character of the home. From plaster and historic woodwork to damaged walls and exterior surfaces, the work begins with understanding what happened and what the home actually needs.

How we do it
The source of the moisture is addressed first. Damaged areas are opened as needed, allowed to dry, and evaluated before finish work begins. A lasting repair starts with correcting the condition beneath the surface.
Traditional lath-and-plaster walls can often be stabilized, patched and skimmed rather than removed. When preservation makes sense, we work to retain the character of the original surface while restoring a clean, consistent finish.
Original siding, trim and architectural details are often worth preserving. Where the material remains sound, we repair rather than replace and match existing profiles when new material is necessary.
When a project involves an insurance claim or requires additional documentation, we can provide photographs and a clearly defined written scope of our work.

Restoration pricing depends on the extent of the damage, the materials involved, access, and the level of repair required. Whenever possible, we evaluate the underlying condition before defining the scope so you understand what is being restored, how we plan to approach it, and what it will cost.

Timelines depend on the size and condition of the project and the preparation required. Your schedule is confirmed in writing with your estimate, and we call you if weather moves it.
