Painting in
Avondale.

Avondale’s bungalows and foursquares reward careful work. Older siding, porches, trim and plaster often need more than a quick repaint, so we evaluate the existing materials, repair what is appropriate and build the finish from a sound surface.

Local knowledge

What a century does to paint here.

A hundred years of layers

Older homes can carry many generations of coatings. Failing material has to be removed back to a sound edge so the new system bonds to a stable surface.

Porches first

Porch floors, ceilings, posts and trim face different wear than siding. Each surface needs a coating appropriate to its use and exposure.

Wood worth saving

Older siding and trim can have profiles and materials that are difficult to replace. Where practical, we repair and preserve sound historic material before considering replacement.

Older coatings require care

Pre-1978 homes may require regulated lead-safe practices. Publish specific lead/RRP claims only if they match Pristine Coastal’s verified certifications and procedures.

Avondale questions, answered.

What does painting cost in Avondale?−

Interior projects typically $4,800–$19,500 and exterior projects $7,200–$28,000. The scheduled estimate provides the actual project price.

Do you work with historic-district requirements?+

When exterior changes require review, we can provide paint colors and coating information for the homeowner’s submission. Approval remains with the applicable historic or architectural review authority.

How do you handle old lead paint?+

Homes built before 1978 get lead-safe prep: containment, no open dry sanding, and a full cleanup at the end of every day. We talk it through when we scope the project so you know exactly what the plan is.

Do you repair plaster?+

Yes. Where appropriate, we stabilize, patch and skim existing plaster and blend the repaired area with the surrounding finish.

Can you match the existing color after a repair or addition?+

Yes. We pull the match from a protected surface rather than a faded one, and we spray out a sample on the wall before committing, because fading means the can color and the wall color are rarely the same.

Can you work while we are living in the house?+

Yes, most of our interior work is in occupied homes. Rooms are contained, cleaned and reset every day, and the schedule is agreed before we start.
