Painting in
Amelia Island.

Amelia Island homes face salt, sun, wind, humidity and community-specific requirements. We select exterior systems around the actual surfaces and exposure, coordinate project details clearly, and bring the same standard to interiors and restoration work.

Local knowledge

What the ocean does to paint here.

Dune-line exposure

Homes near the dunes can take significant salt, UV and wind exposure. Windward elevations may need different preparation and coating recommendations from more protected sides.

Communities and review boards

Many island communities have exterior color or sheen requirements. We can provide the paint and coating information needed for the homeowner’s approval process.

Stucco and shake

Mixed-substrate homes need surface-specific preparation and primers. Treating each material correctly helps the finished exterior read consistently.

Second homes

For owners who are away, clear communication, progress updates and documented project details help keep the work understandable without making recording the centerpiece of the service.

Amelia Island questions, answered.

What does painting cost in Amelia Island?−

Interior projects typically $4,800–$19,500 and exterior projects $7,200–$28,000. The scheduled estimate provides the actual project price.

How often should a beach home be repainted?+

Lower-grade coatings on the ocean side tend to need attention sooner. A properly prepared exterior on a system selected for the exposure holds up considerably longer, and routine washing helps protect it.

How long does an exterior project take?+

Many standard exteriors take roughly one to two working weeks, while larger or more complex homes can take longer. Access, preparation, weather and scope determine the actual schedule.

My drywall feels soft near the windows. Is that the humidity?+

Usually it is moisture getting in around the opening, not the air itself. We find the entry point and fix it first, then replace the damaged board. Painting over soft drywall hides the problem for a season and makes the repair bigger later.

Do you help with community color approvals?+

When a community requires color or sheen information, we can provide the project coating details needed for the homeowner’s submission. Final approval remains with the applicable association or review board.

Do you handle storm and water damage?+

Yes. Restoration is half our work: drywall, trim and repaint after a leak or a storm, documented so your insurance has what it needs.
